In the year 1881, a student replied with a yes of a question asked by the teacher whether the universe is the creation of the god. The teacher asked another question whether evils or ghosts are the creation of god or not. To this the student did not answer and took permission to ask a question to the teacher.

Student: Does cold exist?

Teacher: yes.

Student: You are incorrect. Cold does not exist. It is only the absence of heat.

Likewise, darkness doesn’t exist. Darkness is only felt when there is no light. It is the absence of light.

It enlightens the fact that evil and cruelty don’t have its own form.

This happens to exist only because of the absence of love, trust and disbelief to god.

The very student is none other than Swami Vivekananda
